A native of Cleveland, TN, Steve graduated from Cleveland High where he is listed in their hall of fame. In addition to being a local radio personality, Steve’s company, Hartline, LLC publishes several local magazines and owns/operates WCLE, an adult contemporary radio station. Listed among his many community leadership efforts are the annual Empty Stocking Fund, Family Expo, and city-wide Cleveland Duck Race. Steve has been recognized as the 2016 Communicator of the Year by the Cleveland Media Association, and as the 2015 Alumnus of the year by the Lee University Department of communications. He continues to host a morning radio show, highlighting local news and events. He and his wife, Jennifer have two children, Reagan and
Holden. Steve is a level-2 legacy, his mother is a ’72 alum.
Karly Blackwell, 12, is a seventh-grade student at Lake Forest Middle School. She has had multiple performing roles including the parts of Annie in Annie, Jr. as well as Elsa, in Frozen, Jr.. She is very active in her home church, Samples Memorial Baptist Church. She is a member of the Lake Forest softball team where she was selected as a member of the All-District team. She is also a member of the volleyball and track teams, Mirabella, an all-girls choir at LFMS, Student Government Association, and the secretary of Beta Club. She was awarded the Bruin Scholar award her sixth-grade year for the highest GPA in her class. She lives in Cleveland, TN with her parents, Jason and Amy, and her brother, Kifton.
